Matt Merkel led the creative direction of Marilyn Monroe Spas’ launch into six U.S. markets within two years. In addition to creating demand and driving traffic and revenue in each market, the brand and marketing campaigns enhanced the end-user’s experience with branded spa environments, consumer advertising and promotions and a full array of products available both in‑store and online. In this same time period, over 200 branded products were developed for retail and online channels, and three service concepts (Nail Boutiques, Glamour Rooms and Resort Spas) were launched in high-end locations in New York City, Miami, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Monterey and Maui.
